We can prevent Floyd incident from happening again by raising people’s concern on the systemic racism in all around our world, not just USA, starting from Minneapolis, and make changes to create a more just and well-being society.
This is not an easy task of any kind. It is not enough of being “not racist”, we need people to fight against the systemic racism, not to turn their back on it. In this project, we focus on analyzing the live of residents living in ward 9, looking at their daily routines, looking at their social and economic problems under 6 frames, comparing that to a well developed white space (Edina) to find out the difference, and try to relief the problems by architecture, by creating a new high street. We aim to solve the issue by creating a better world for everyone, not by harming one type of people and satisfying the other type.
