Concerning difference in creativity

'All that is not true of identity is the subject of error.'

The quote above from Gilles Deleuze describes how everyday 'common sense' thinking uses simplistic identities to relegate all that is found different to the category of error.  Deleuze proposes that we instead 'start with difference' as the generator of creativity and joy. Therefore we are interested in all that is not found to be true of identity - different bodies, different methods and different ambitions.

This blog is concerned with architectural design and spatial practices which seek to promote equality and inclusion in our cities and communities. The posts here address the spatial (both digital and physical) consequences of structural discrimination and inequality, but also  the status of different bodies, people, ideas and methods in inclusive creative processes.
