Major disparity in time spent walking between men and women was highlighted

by a global Stanford data study in 2017, through analysing smartphone data from

over 68 million days of activity (Althoff, et al, 2017). The research concluded that

in every city in the world, women walk disproportionately fewer steps per day than

men; illuminating a ‘Gender Step Gap’.

Award winning research into women’s right to the city. RIBA President medal nominated. Documenting the day by day @ourstreetsnow campaign in MCR.miro.com/app/board/o9J_laQVxv8=
